Your Topspeed is lower, your speedmeter shows much to much and I don't know what about the payload...
The reason is understandeble, thats why I decided for 195 40 R16...

Yes, but I don`t know how it will match the adaptors, the bigger wheels with this 1.3 engine.

I`m ridding the car mostly alone on shrot distance and I don`t pay so much attation to it. I will check the speedo with GPS to see what exactly is the difference.

It should be about 6% more, than real, but you have to know, that the Wartburg speedometers shows naturally more than you drive (from 60 to about 80 Km/h). I visited a speedometer specialist and he showed me the difference, since about 60 Km/h, everthing is fine, than it is getting more and more uncorrect...

That`s interesting. I think that the tolerance is about 7-8%. It is necessary to compare it with GPS.
I know only that traby with tyres 155/80/13 shows more kilometres on speedo than real speed is. It`s tested.

Yes, I think I told. Intressting is, that the difference is growing with the driven speed....

Maybe that`s because the speed is measured by sting and there are a lot of losses, it`s also outdated way of measuring. However how is the thing with parts at you. We have a lot of problems with hungarian parts. I remember it with speedo sting...

We have a lot of problems with hungarian parts
...concerning speedometers or in generall? Here in Germany hungarian parts are also not really known for high quality, esspecially with elastic gum parts. What do you mean exactly?

I mean in all kinds of parts. From rubber parts(not oil and brake liquid steady) through all kinds of stigs to brake pads and more thats not in mind right now.

Everybody who can decide, will use german parts. Esspeccially the
axle boots are produced in very bad quality, they often work not longer than 5000 km ore less...they getting big and bigger. But there are mybe some other parts. Do you know of some new productions in this direction?

I had chaged the upper axle boots but it was before 2 years and the only thing that I remember is that they were from Passat I think 3rd generation or from Skoda Felicia. Don`t remember very well. Sooner I had a problem with the down axle boots I slice sliced them in inattention and I saw it after two weeks. We cut from an old original DDR axle boot a part and clue it. It did well and I have no problems since then. But the decision is to go from store to store and to show and ask for a similar parts. The sellers looks are priceless!
